Today is coronation day in UK.
I am not pro nor against monarchies.
I was not born in this country.
I particularly think Carlos is a very unlucky person, ever to get a crown of rain on his head today.
To me kings are very well paid slaves to the country by us.
I think they have no way to escape of their non-sense inheritance, but if they could they will run away.
They have too much money.
But I don't think rich people and money are bad; the bad thing is people not having it. We all work for money everyday and won't work by free, we have a capitalist life and we need to be aware and congruent with it.
I did time ago systems for a finance group; talking with them, I got to know that the money that the king family generates to this country is really good; is nothing compared with what we pay.
Leaving the royals go away could be even worse than leave the EU has been to get our pockets emptier.
I read recently the biography book of Michelle "Becoming Obama" and she talked about the day they were invited by first time to the Buckingham Palace by the Queen and the Duque;
she said how imponent and ostentatious is the place in comparison with the White house in USA that she before felt was a big showy display to impress.
But she also said the queen was just an old grannie who talked aside with her about having to stay stand long hours on hard uncomfortable shoes and that they became very good friends.
England is still on the top play because of that royal posh fake image - real English life and people is much simpler and kind. I would say English people are land walkers and nature lovers. Sorry, thank you and roast dinners do define us better.
Sorry, I do always hesitate to call myself English but sometimes I do. I feel I am some how but I know I am not some how too; but at the end I have lived in England the most of my life and citizenship is registration based in localization and billing identity rather than culture amalgamation or ancestry or descendances. I hope one day frontiers get removed to help me to register myself better as a citizen of this planet.
So to me, Charles is our best paid slave..

I don't think the royalty will last very long, many countries have already got rid of them; but none of them had as strong world influence as the previous Elisabeth queen had, she made it continue until today.
One good thing about having a king aside of the prime minister is that if someday anyone wants to do a coup (which happened and destroyed my previous localization country), they will need to kill 2 people and not just one
